Well, last night was a bit of a wash-out as we lost out to the England game I suspect which was pretty disappointing. We did a few experiments anyway with the new kit I'd got with me as you will see. I'm hoping for better luck next week.
This blog is a showcase for work created by a group of young people from Haregate in Leek in Staffordshire using photography and a wide variety of light sources, from disco-balls to light sabres and fairy lights, to create light-paintings.
Light-paintings are long-exposure photographs that record the movement of light.
I am a freelance photographer and community artist working in Staffordshire. I am passionate about documentary photography as well as camera obscuras, light-painting, pinhole photography and other alternative image-making practices.
